Been kicking this around.   Not 100% sure I'd be willing to do it but that doesn't matter if no one else is interested.

The basics:
5-6 owners take a team in a public-y world(meaning it could be private with no rules/screening process).
All teams must be in AL or NL.

The objective:
Completely turn over personnel to "make it your own".
In S5, the game begins and is over after S8.
Beat the other participants senseless.
A points system that would include record, head to head, playoffs and WS wins would be used to determine the winner.

How you achieve the objective is up to you.  n00b-raping, tanking, anything but collusion.  You know, the standard MO in 'tard worlds.   But you cannot use a player who was on your roster when the game begins in the 5th season.

Would anyone be interested in the TWC?   It would mean what amounts to an 8 season committment unless you cry "uncle" before them.   Maybe a GC prize from the rest to the winner.

And, to attempt to avoid any collusive activity, the participants would not be allowed to trade with one another.

Obviously WifS anti-tanking rules would apply with tanking.    And there's no crying if your n00b-rape trades get vetoed. 

Its already collusion in that you're putting your heads together to determine how you're going to play. "Hey, lets all tank for 5 seasons then kill it after that!" .......collusion.

No one says you have to tank.   Please point that out. 

In fact, I'm not sure tanking is the way to win it.    Your first draft isn't what you "earned".  Your 2nd and 3rd drafts should get you a player or two that you can use in 6/7/8 but that about it.   Two young players doesn't amount to much for 2-3 seasons.

Collusion:

In order for this to not be collusion you'd need to make an announcement in the world chat letting every owner know whats going on. I don't think you'd need to offer a prize to all 32 owners, but they all deserve the chance to know what you're trying to do.

Errr, this is a PUBLIC forum.   What secret or illegal activity is happening?

I'd world chat, trade chat, and sitemail all 31 other owners. Anything short of that is you hoping someone won't find out. No excuse.

PUBLIC forum.   Does every owner who joins a world have to declare his intentions? 

I don't think you understand words.   At least those with more than 4-5 letters.
