Need help getting over the top. Topic

I just completed my best season with this team concept, but still no rings.  We Won 59 games, good for 3d place in the conference, but the record was inflated by an epically bad team in our division.  I lost in seven games in the second round to a team that had my number in the regular season.  Would any of you experts mind looking at my squad and suggesting some improvements?  THANKS!

Wrong Rodman (92-93 is the perfect OL SF and is the right price).
Don't use Dirk unless your back court is loaded with offensive boards.  Look for more offensive boards out of your 4 man while maintaining similar usage and efg%.
Don't use Hakeem unless you're using the 2k minute season in a partial season combo with Wilt (and even then I firmly believe there are better options).
Look at finding a PG that gives you some threes.  With the usage you have elsewhere, you can afford to go for a low-usage PG like '10 Kidd.
Also, your bench is kind of bleh.  Usage doesn't match up with who the bench man is replacing in the line-up.  Efficiency is also a concern.

Thanks Ash.

Can you explain what type of player I should replace Hakeem with?

If I drop Dirk, Manu will be my only high USG 3pt shooter.  Should I get a Kevin Love type, or am I overrating 3's?

Really appreciate the help.

You don't need a whole lot of 3s from high usage players.  A low usage guy that makes 150+ 3pm is still going to give you 200 3pm in a full season.  But 3s are very important... you just don't have to get them all from a high usage guy.

If you want to keep the basic usage structure you have going, look for a guy 55%+ efg% with around the same combined rebound percentage (but higher defensive boards) and who fouls less.  I usually go for a tier 4 usage or lower center and get most of my usage from 2 positions (generally SG and PF).  I generally like having 12.5 to 14.5 usage points in my SL.  If you don't understand what I'm talking about, read this thread.

In addition to what ashamael has said, i think u should draft fewer total minutes and have 3 low salary players (instead of 2).

or even if you can find a way to only have 4 it can make a big difference.
