I just took this team over and was wondering if anyone thinks this player is cut worthy:

He has high speed potential left, avg D, avg LP, avg Pass, avg FT. Everything else is low. Obviously he is a very good defender with nice ATH and SPD, but not much other than that. Worthy of being on an A- prestige team? I just don't know where you would play a guy like this. To me his BH and Pass is too low for a PG at this level and he wouldn't be much of a scorer so that rules out SG. Am I missing something?

I wouldn't cut him.  He's probably a career backup but could start at SF if you needed him to and didn't need a lot of scoring out of the position.  He's an average or above average defender now and with high spd and avg def left he'll be a pretty darn good defensive player.  I'd recruit that guy again if I was short on cash in D2, certainly wouldn't cut him.  Maybe if you have 6 guys you really want as signing gets close you could think about it, but I don't think he's the worst Soph on that team, so he probably wouldn't be the guy I'd cut...

you would be insane to cut that guy, IMO.  never going to average 25 a game but he's never going to hurt you either.

He is a keeper.  Could start or be a backup SF.  I wouldn't mind him starting as we all tend to put the best offense in the starting lineup which dilutes our starters individual touches. Start him and now you can spread those out among 4 starters and have a solid scorer (hopefully) on the bench to take the slack for the second unit.
