In exchange I will offer you this guy that can only hit lefties with no power,  and a relief pitcher that can only pitcher 1 inning every 5 days.

tell me about it.  Trade offers are usually laughable at best.  What do these people think we are smoking???

The reason why people make those offers is because in tard worlds they often get accepted.

This isn't a problem I've experienced in any good worlds.

The worst trade offers I receive in MG are something like this

Me in WC: I need a 2B
Death via TC: Do you want any of my average defensive 2B's that hit at a AA level?

Even more comical is the 73/76/72/78 "shortstop" and 79/62/59/60 center fielder being offered. Even if these trades were to be accepted, they also believe they won't be vetoed or raise a stink.

Hi, I'm interested in your surprisingly inexpensive 3-time MVP that hits 50 homeruns/year, with a .400+ OBP. 

In exchange I will offer you a AAA starting pitcher, and a youngster who might develop into a serviceable (decent OBP, but no power) 2b if his glove improves a little, by which I mean a lot.

Yup. I offered the best player on my replacement team, and I got 3 offers. Each one was a one for three, but all 3 were AAAA players at best. I guess guys think quantity>quality...

Man, you guys get good trade offers. I get the SP #2-3 for a LF with a career OPS of .680 and splits/power in the 40's

Someone posting " Willing to trade talented pitcher"  You make a legit offer, it is countered by pure insanity.  You politely reject.  Then, said talented pitcher is traded for infinitely less than your initial offering.

The one thing that bothers me is when in WC, I ask for exactly what I want "I need one good SP and nothing else, a one on one trade" and then get offers of 3 players which sometimes doesn't include a SP.
