League Allignment Topic

Allow new leagues to be formed with 30 teams in 6 divisions of 5 teams, to mimic MLB. Also allow existing leagues to have an option to change to a 30 team/5 team divisions as owners fail to renew.
I don't know how easy this would be to do, from a programming or rewards standpoint ,but I think it would have a lot of advantages for everybody.

I'd bet WIS thinks having 2 more teams make the playoffs is good for business.  I'd be surprised if they did this.

I can't think of any advantages for anybody.

I would like to see them make the 2nd round 4/7 instead of 3/5, but other than that I think the playoffs work well.

This. Been asking for this for a while.

Advantages:
Owners
1. Able to duplicate MLB
2. 2 less teams. odds of making playoffs increase. There was no mention of eliminating 3 wild card teams,or following MLB playoff format.
3. Potential to fill leagues faster with less wait time after rollover, It may not be a significant advantage, but it is obviously easier to fill a 30 league team than a 32.

WIS
1. Potential for leagues to begin more quickly. 1 extra season every year or so would mean increased revenue.
2. 2 less 4th place credits.

BTW. I do agree with the 2nd round 4/7, but that has nothing to do with this topic.
