Who would you start at 3rd, ss and cf.  Im leaning towards camacho cf, ontiveros at ss and black at 3rd but would liek some feedback please.  I dont need a ton of off production from these positions so Id like to optimize there fielding by not putting them in the worng places.  Thanks in advance.

i mean it doesn't really matter where you slot them if you insist on starting all of them, what does matter is that you're only hurting yourself by insisting on starting them all.

like ontiveros is fine to play SS in a pinch but you don't need to with Camacho +  he's a WOAT level starting CF.  i'd acquire a real CF who isn't god awful and play Camacho at SS

You think id be better off trading ontiveros and getting another cf'r .  What do you recommend for cf'r ratings wise.  I prefer fielding in this position am i worng?

Camacho at SS. Ontiveros is a defensive replacement, pinch-runner, and can rest all your up-the middle players against RHP occasionally; very nice bench player IMO.  Black should be traded; the 3B glove doesn't balance the bat.

Black at 3B.  Then look over your pitching staff, if you are ground ball prone, put Camacho at SS and Ontiveros in CF.

If you are fly ball prone, reverse the last two.

Try to look for another 3B with a little more bat and a little less D.  Black will be a GG at 3B but you should probably shoot for a little more O out of that position if you can.
