question about draft picks....need help Topic

i have the #3 pick in the draft this season, it is from a Type D last season, does anyone know if the person I draft this year at #3 doesnt sign, do i know lose the pick or will i get another comp D pick next year for it?  just wondering if i need to make sure i get a guy that will sign, so i dont lose the pick.

Im pretty sure it will carry over.  So you'd have #4 next season

I don't think that is correct. I know for sure if a type a or b comp pick that does not sign will not receive a type d for the next year.

It shouldn't be this way, but if a guy you drafted with a type D comp pick doesn't sign, you get comped again.

so two say yes and two say no, lol, im still just as clueless, but thanks to everyone for trying to help.  is this listed anywhere in the help sections?

This.  They aren't supposed to get compensation the following year, but they do.

My guess is that at some point this will be corrected by a future update.  But until then, yes, you will get a comp pick the following season.
