Just curious about exactly how much prestige is worth in recruiting. So, as a C- school, how much will it take to win a battle against a B- school? I realize distance is a factor, so just assume all is equal except Prestige.

1/3 more effect per letter grade as a rule of thumb.

That being said, there may be other factors as well.

Although I know you know this, just to clarify for newer members, 1/3 more effort per letter grade is for D1.  It's significantly less for D2/D3.

I guess I should have clarified that this is D1. Thanks though. I had not seen the 1/3 rule before.
