Just recently I found myself wondering how my current dynasty would fare against some of the most dominant dynastys in my world's past.  This website was FOUNDED on this basic idea!  '86 Mets vs '97 Marlins, '83 White Sox vs '06 Cardinals, '67 Tigers vs '96 Indians.
It would be cool to simulate the Season 19 Angry Dragons in Spahn vs the Season 7 Polygamists in Spahn, or any other dyansty from any other world for that matter.  I'm getting a little wet just thinking about it.

That would be fun.

When we build a new version of Live this functionality would be a part of it. If all goes as planned we would like to be able to play a game live where you are using your dynasty team against a real life team.

Another idea we have is playing out your boxscore live, something akin to how MLB.com presents a real life game with Gameday.

These are pie in the sky types of ideas we have been bouncing around, but we thought they were exciting enough to share.

Thanks Patrick.  You made my day.  This would be a whole lotta fun and it would make for some interesting blog content in the World to be able to simulate tournaments of dynasty teams and maybe sprinkle in some real life teams as well.

I like the idea of playing Sim League baseball with our hardball dynasty teams.  It seems like it would be a simple translation to just take the stats from each team and plug them into the Sim League model.

I've also wondered about playing fantasy baseball in my hardball dynasty league...talk about games within games...

We could also simulate our own teams against each other if we play in multiple worlds.
