Who would you start at PG and why?

not a question player B for sure beacause he has so much athletism which helps him score points and pass better and play defense better.

however player A will be great off the bench in terms of scoring and not an awful defender either at D3

And you have some other guy of the same caliber to start at the 2?  I dunno - if your team is good enough offensively I'd be tempted to go with A against teams that didn't have a great scorer at the 1.  I think his BH will limit the turnovers and help your overall offensive efficiency.  It would definitely be a matchup thing, though.  A against non-scoring PGs, B against better scoring PGs.

Of course, things you left out - offensive IQ and LP - are very relevant here.

I would go with A, he is currently playing on my team http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=0&pid=2072195 he is averaging 17.8 PPG in 24 mins per game on over 50% shooting and beat the #2 team in the country by breaking two double teams in the last 15 seconds to sink two 3's to win the game.

I would probably go with A as well. There is no one faster in D3, obviously. He's also a better Ball Handler, and slightly better IQ. 45 Ath is not bad either even though it is lower than player B. He's also got slightly better Per and a little better Stamina, and a little better IQ. Either one would be a very good D3 player.

Player A will completely dominate almost every D3 PG he plays against. His defense is adequate for D3 and that speed combined with the BH will just be killer. Also the BH/Pass combo is just so much better than player B he would be a much better distributor.
