In GD Dynasty, I favor Work Ethic as one of my most valued traits, as long as the other key traits are decent.  But players in GD Dynasty have unlimited growth potential, so it really pays off.  In HD Dynasty, how much does work ethic matter in finding a good player?

look at it mostly as what limits low WE will have on development. I typically don't search lower than 25 WE (and many go higher). Other than that it may be a factor in breaking a tie if I am torn between 2 similarly valuable recruits.

Ask 10 coaches and you'll get 10 different opinions.  I'll go pretty low if I can get the player minutes and he has good starting points for the important ratings.  High potential is great for a player you're looking at red-shirting or anyone with high potential in 5 or more categories.  Work ethic also affects iq's in HD.

I will go pretty low (17 is the lowest I have signed thus far). He turned out to be the all time assist leader, #3 in steals on my Nebraska Wesleyan team. I started him all four years and he had pretty good cores but he turned out to be a great player.

I'm leary of anything under 20 (28 is my low currently), though I'm sure I probably have recruited and signed guys with it though...guess it also depends on the recruiting class, what I need, and how I'm feeling on the given recruiting day as well, so yes you will get quite the mish mash of opinions here.

It depends on the player.  WE is extremely important when rebuilding when you typically won't be able to recruit higher-rated players.  So you need low-rated guys with high potential.  WE expedites transformation from potential to usefulness.
