type A vs Type B Topic

what is this based on. I used to think it was based on performance but I have a closer who saved 44 of 45 games and he is a type B. someone else suggested that it was solely based on ratings. is that how it is in WIS? i didnt think that was true for RL

In HBD, Type A or Type B is determined solely by OVR rating. They're grouped (C, COF/CIF, SS/2B/CF, SP, RP) and then ranked based on they're OVR.

I believe it's top 20% of each position group is type A, and second 20% of each position group is type B.

I signed 4 type A players in my first season in HD.  Some team got a fourth round pick for their awesome player!!  lol
