Can anyone help me out? I put in for a job. It has been pending for some time. The site says that job decisions begin at 6/17/12, 11:59PM. I assume that's Eastern. That time has come and gone. It's still showing pending. There has been no status change.

When does the status normally change? When it is filled does the status show filled? Does it show turned down? How will I know if I got the job? It's got me hung up. I have a couple possible backup options but I don't want to waste my applications if I can get this job. If you have been thru this process or know how it works, please rspond. Thanks!

If you are in a world and looking to change jobs, it usually takes about 24-36 hours to hear back.  (IF you are qualified)  If you are not qualified you will get a rejection in 0-5 hours.

The sim gathers all the apps for a job over that longer time and compares them to find the best candidate.  So sounds like you are in the running with 1 or more others.

You will get an email from your AD with the result of your application at that time.
