I wish WIS would offer HBD speed worlds.  Have a cycle every 2 hours instead of every 4 hours like is current.  I understand this wouldn't be for everyone, and if you didn't want something like this then you wouldn't have to join a 'speed' world.

Just curious if anyone else out there agreed with me.  It would allow 6 games to be played in a 24 hr period, make the offseason and spring training fly by, make rebuilds faster, and overall WIS would get twice as much $ from people that were interested in something like this.

Has this ever been discussed and would anyone else be even slightly interested?

I have often wondered this. They offer different simulation frequencies in other games. I would def sign up for one of these worlds. Nothing is quite a boring from the end of the regular season til the rollover happens. I personally think the ten day dead period is why a lot of owners don't renew. They get bored of waiting and find something else to fill the void.

The problem, as I see it, is that a team could spiral out of control on long weekend.  For those seeking a competitive world, there's not much worse than a team running 0(0) pitchers out there because one owner went on a fishing trip or extended drinking binge.

Doesn't mean it's not a good idea just means it does have it's problems.
