Player Development Question Topic

I've got a 2B who's in his first year, but is a big prospect for me and is advanced in his hitting abilities, so he's hitting well at the AAA level. That said, his defensive skills are lacking, and he's committing a lot of errors.

Am I doing him a disservice in his development by playing him at 2B even though his D skills aren't ready for it, or should I play him somewhere else until he develops? I don't care much about winning games at any level below ML.

Thanks in advance.

If his ratings project him to be a 2B, play him at 2B.

Agreed with tec. I always play guys in the minors in the positions that I see them playing in the majors- sometimes one position "higher" on the fielding chain (ie CF instead of 2B, 2B instead of 3rd, etc.). I don't think I've ever looked at minor league fielding stats...
