Southwestern, which finished the season ranked #4, and which has an A+ prestige is available in Tarkanian in D3 in the University Conference. The University Conference only has this one opening. It was the #2 ranked conference last year, and was home to the National Champions Trinity (TX), which incidentally Southwestern beat in all 3 meetings. The conference sent 6 teams to the NT, and 5 of them made the Sweet 16, so there is a lot of bonus cash available. We are hoping that a really good coach will take over the team, as our goal is to become the #1 conference this year, passing the mighty ODAC which has dominated Tarkanian for so many years.
