Recruits signed ... still have money left Topic

Filled my roster, still have cash left.

Is it possible to continue to recruit and get a prospect to consider you ... so that next recruiting period (asssuming he goes JC) he will be considering you right off the bat??

And is there a way to know if he will go JC?? He is a ranked prospect and there is no one on him with just 24 hours left of recruiting.

It is possible, in certain cases, for a prospect to consider you now and next season. That said, I think it is not a very good idea for a couple of reasons. First, only 25% of whatever you put in will remain next season. That may still be enough, it may not be. Next, if the prospect does go JUCO, which he likely will, he may end up across the continent in someplace like California or Oregon. In that case, even if he is still considering you, he may be too far away to be worth going after him. In addition, if he is a ranked prospect and is still available this late into recruiting then I would question why. I would suspect the reason is that he has low potential in virtually every inportant skill.

If it were me, I would let my remaining cash roll over and see who is available next season but I tend to be conservative in areas like this. It is your call and this is just my opinion. Other coaches who have successfully done this may offer positive reasons for doing this.

Yeah, given that the carryover on recruiting effort is the same as the carryover for your leftover cash, I'd save the money and pocket it for next time around.
