Best D3 World looking for best coaches Topic

Hey all- Wooden is in the job change period, and the up and coming New Jersey conference has one opening- Ramapo. Coached for two seasons by highly reputed coach dacj501, you will have a great base to start off with, and should be contending immediately.

The main draw of this team is the conference. In Wooden, there have always been the "Big 4" conferences- the ones that just dominate. Upstate, Minn. IAC, etc. So, a group of coaches got together a few seasons ago and decided to make the New Jersey conference just as good as the powerhouse conference!

Thus, the Jersey Shore Crew was born. It remains mostly intact, with 9 members from the first season still at the school. So come on down and join us in the NJ challenge!

It appears jpmills has volunteered to pay for a week long trip to Hayward, CA for whoever claims the team. This of course is for when they play CSU Eastbay.

I make it rain that way!

I do second what Caesari is saying. Dac left the team with a solid balance of good returning players as well as a solid nu,bet of openings for a solid recruiting budget.

Very active conference in the best D3 world.  If you're looking for a challenge, this is a really great opportunity and makes the game very fun.

We now have a second opening as gvsujulius left to another school, leaving Richard Stockton open:

Richard Stockton

Dick Stockton's bigs alone make that a solid job to jump into.  And you can see from the improvements this year that those underclassmen have lots of upside left.

That Richard Stockton team is a mess.  Bad, bad ratings for a team that runs M2M, even for D3.  Whoever takes over that team has some work to do.

Not sure it should be characterized as a mess at all.  It has avg'd a 110 RPI the last 2 years in the first years of rebuild.  If you think that is a mess, you should look around the rest of the world.

There are 2 decent bigs to work with.  Both should be 90+ in rebounding, 50+ in ATH, and 40+ in DE.  They will do a really nice job mopping up the boards.  The new coach gets those guys for 2 years.

Further, soph to be Eric Eidison should be a solid D3 scorer.  I don't have his potentials, but based on this years growth, he should end up 30+ ATH, High 70's/Low 80's SPD, 30+ DE, and 70 PE.  That guy can score and his DE (when combined with ATH and SPD) will be fine in D3.  Not shut down, but won't kill a team.

Senior to be Richard Spooner, though listed as a PF, has more than enough ATH and SPD to play SF.  Heck, he has solid LP and PE combo, as well as really good DE ratings.  Looks like he is still High Potential in LP and PE too.  Guy could really fill it up offensively next season (remember offseason progression hasn't gone through yet).

Phil Skinner isn't great on DE, and won't be either, but he can hold over PG until a better recruit is found.

That starting 5 is not a mess in the least.  In fact, its a heck of a lot to work with compared to other teams in the world.

the NJ conference is really becoming good but if it does fill up we also have the SUNYAC conference which we are trying to fill up! we have 7 coaches who are all pretty solid along with some great coaches and out first season we were full! were trying to get back to that so if you wanna help us fill up then come and join the SUNYAC! we have a small rivalry with the NJ conference and if we get some more coaches we will have a challenge with them! so either conference you join, there will be a lot of excitement to look forward to!

I didn't think I left the team as a mess and it isn't that easy recruiting in the northeast with the likes of Upstate lurking.
