I took over a SIM team with 7 seniors Topic

According to new rules, a team can can only have 6 max in any given class...am I punished somehow, or grandfathered in? Thanks.

Nothing happens. You get the team as-is and will graduate 7 at the end of the season. Actually, there is one thing - you will only get recruiting funds for 6 players next season.

Thx

The 6 in one class rule only means that you can't have 7 freshmen. You can still fill all 7 spots by taking a JUCO or a transfer.

If a freshmen was redshirted, he will also count  as one of your six freshmen for the next season

Actually one of his seven rostered seniors was redshirted, so he'll have five open spots this year and assuming he fills them all, six open spots next season with the appropriate cash.

That's not true, actually.  He will have the five open this year, but the redshirt is using his fourth year of eligibility and will graduate.  He'll have seven open spots next year.

If Ralph Hebert decides to use his fifth year due to him being ineligible his first season and he fills all five slots during recruiting this season, he'll have six open spots next year, not seven.

Ah, I saw the redshirt and missed the non-qualifier.
