In a just-finished league, I was up 3 games to 2 in the WS.  Logged on last night when I got home, little green 'you've got sitemail' envelope is flashing, and I'm thinking 'cool'.  Check the scores, I lost (btw, I thought my opponent had a far stronger team, so I was sweating it out despite my lead).  Turns out I'd gotten another sitemail, which I rarely do.

This morning, I log on, and there's the green envelope again.  OK, I think; can't happen twice.  I must have won!  No, the game hadn't simmed yet: I had another new sitemail!  Later, I check back and I won (yay, me).  Still, it was a gut-wrenching couple game-days!

Funny, had a similar experience yesterday.  I'm up 3-1 in the WS of my prog and I log on and see the little green envelope.  Instead of going to scroll the play by play I open the mail and Surprise!  "Congrats on your league championship!"  So, ruined the clinching game for me (I was fairly confident up 3-1) but I won so no big deal. 

I'll sometimes send myself a sitemail if I want to "watch" a clinching game via play by play so the little green envelope will not give away the result...it's things like that that make me feel a little worse about myself...
