Who would you rather have,
Christopher Hallum or a guy with 70 ATH, 80 SPD, 65 DEF, 50 PER, 75 BH, and 60 Pass with B+ FT shooting? I can't imagine the 2nd guy I described putting up quite the offensive numbers that Hallum did or winning quite the same volume of awards, and Hallum is graduating 8th all-time in D3 Knight in scoring, 2nd in the 26 seasons I've been playing. All the same I can't help thinking that the other guy might really have helped my team win more. I play zone, but this season all of my defenders are sort of the same medium caliber, definitely a down season defensively. I have other good scorers, the defender might have helped more. That of course puts context into things, but what I still want to know is IN A VACUUM, with 12 openings and no knowledge of other available recruits, would you rather have the elite defender who can score 16 or 18 PPG with reasonable efficiency or the mediocre defender who can pour in 30 on a regular basis?
