Teams with a strong start Topic

My team in diamondbacks has had a really strong two years in a row.  I am concerned that my team will do it again in the second half.  Does anyone have any thoughts on building a team to last through the whole regular season?  What can I do to  make sure my team does better down the stretch?  Should I keep my current 6 man rotation? Should I rest my guys more while they are at 98% plus rest?  I'd really like to see what some people have to say about this.

Having players with 90s durability helps. If you don't overplay in spring training, a 95 DUR guy can play the whole season at 100%. I would rest every player as soon as they drop to 99%, always fielding a 100% lineup. I don't see 6 SPs worthy of starting. Gil and Funaki are borderline mop up pitchers. Most veteran owners use 4 primary with a 5th starter getting less starts than the rest. Using 6 SPs means your best guys aren't pitching as often as they can. Andujar is throwing way too many pitches ( 120, 109 ) With 18 DUR / 78 STA his pitch count should be around 90 and you will get more starts out of him. Same with Blank. 20/64 means like 75 pitches max to get the most starts.

Some teams, and players, just seem to do this.  I have guys every season who do the same thing and it is not because of durability or any other rating that I can tell.  A catcher of mine hits about .385 in the first half and ends the year at about .325, every season.  A 3B of mine hits about .220 in the first half and ends his year at about .300, every season.

I have pitchers that skittle around for the first half and then dominate in the second.

Some teams charge out of the gate and play .650 or higher ball for a while then I zoom past them to win the division, every year.  And the wierd thing is, the same teams, and same players seem to do this every season.  I can't figure it out, but I see the ratings and know it is going to happen again.
