He doesn't give up that many: for his career he allows 0.83 HR/9. Kind of high for a GB pitcher, particularly playing in Jacksonville, but not horrible. This year's spike is likely because of the move to Austin. Also, his splits are good but not elite. Nothing about his HR rate screams abnormal, particularly in a world where the average HR/9 is 1.21.

I don't know if he does....see ted's post...he doesn't have much of a heater, as josh pointed out.  But he throws 250 innings every year of 3.00 ERA.

He's dang good.
