Hi guys! There are 3 pretty good openings in the SEC in tark. We were full not too long ago, and were pretty competitive for bonus money even with the mighty ACC and Big East being so close. But without you to fill the ranks, we can't do it! So come check us out - and keep in mind that its more than just the team. Its a fun CC and any coach whose looked for help has gotten it, IMO. and you have coaches like storm (who, with 3, has about the most d1 titles in tark in the new engine era), johnsensing (who, with 6, has about the most d1 titles in the new engine area, or at least hes in the top few). and of course this old timer (gillispie, coach_billyg, gillispie) is still hanging around. ive been out of the game for a while but am taking South Carolina pretty seriously, they are just about to be fully rebuilt. So anyway, great chance to come talk to some nice dudes, and for mid major coaches who would like some extra learning with this first big 6 school, come on over!!
There are 3 openings-
Mississippi, with its B prestige and recent human coaching, is a prime pickup. Creb was here 2 years, took them to the sweet 16 and roudn 1, and let behind workable talent. However, he does have 6 graduating players, so this is really an ideal opportunity for someone who likes to make their own mark, and quick :) With the prestige and the talent coming back, it should not take long at all to get things rolling.
Alabama is an interesting situation. It had a human coach for a long time who did pretty well, but trailed off a bit at the end. Ardthomp, then recent national champ at UK, decided to take on the rebuild. Well now, 2 seasons later, he has 11 players on the team and 1 walkon, but has moved on again. The talent level of the team is not killer, but remember there ARE 5 sophs and 5 FR. So this team really could be pretty good soon. They have a B- prestige.
Auburn is the rebuild of the bunch, but its not really a bad one. With a C+ prestige, auburn had been a relatively strong program, until the coach left 2 seasons ago. However, he still has a full 5 man class of juniors, so if you take them, you will get a full class of seniors. Not elite talent again, but definitely workable. A very possible scenario is you would boot some simmies this year, fill the roster, have a post season team due to the 5 seniors, and then basically be starting just about fresh next year when they all leave (except who you grabbed the first time around). Hopefully by then you can move that C+ to a B/B- and pull in some nice large classes.
well, thanks for reading, i hope you will check these teams out! we would really love to have you.
