For the second time this season one of my MLers goes down with an injury even though they didn't play in the game. This time it was the pitcher scheduled to start the next game. The sim then skipped the injured pitcher and picked the next pitcher in the order who is not fully rested.

At the very least the sim should allow me to assign a new pitcher to start the next game.

Wait until several pitchers die in an off-season boating accident.

I figure I'm going to receive the plane crash message one of these days.

WifS has explained this before.    Pitcher feels a twinge in his previous start.  Goes for MRI a few days later when it still bothers him.   MRI shows injury and he's out.

Yes, and then the team should be able to put in a replacement for the pitcher...especially, if the next starter in line won't be fully recovered.
