How many other Big Ten teams are in the projections above them? (or is there an abundance of teams from another conference like the ACC in the top slots?) The seedings will bump teams to avoid first-round conference matchups or to balance teams from the same conference evenly throughout the regions as much as possible. Usually in the first case it's the higher digit seed that gets slid, so my completely blind guess would be the latter?
