Just happened to notice a sim team in my conference has 9 juniors, far exceeding the 6 per class rule. Is sim exempt?

I believe so. i have seen many sim teams with what i call super classes. You never like to play them when thy are all seniors.

Simmy has always been exempt from that rule.  Pretty rare, but you see a superclass from time to time for them as a result.

I don't know what you're tlaking about indyrider.  I specifically seek out sim teams with 8+ seniors from fairly empty conferences to play in non-con games.  It's usually reasonably easy to beat those teams with human-recruited teams, but they'll still beat up on the average sims and you get a decent non-con SOS without taking a lot of risks.

in both of your cases it depends. I'll agree with Dash on the fact they will be easier to beat than most user teams and still get you a good return for your SOS. The only time I might suggest otherwise and side with indyrider on not wanting to play them is when your team just flat out sucks.

With that said, I've seen plenty of sim teams with high numbers of upperclassmen, but I think this is the first I've seen with more than 7-8 in a class in a long time.

I usually find 2 or 3 of them per year in D3, at least on average...

I agree with this (although from a D2 standpoint).  They aren't that hard to find.

Hell, we have FOUR in D2 Central in Knight.  And another team with six in a class.  That's out of six sim teams.

So if you want a clean slate with a bunch of cash, come to the CIAA!
