At present moment, two open spots are available in Allen's North Atlantic Conference.  The NAC is on the short list for best D3 conference in all worlds and is -- by far -- the class of the Allen world.  Three D3 conferences have all 10 spots on the all-time top 10 RPI list.  Allen's NAC has three of those spots.

I have a team in the conference.  I've had pretty good success.  Over the last 10 seasons, my RPI has been: 3, 8, 1, 1, 6, 2, 3, 4, 4, 3.  That includes a national title in one of those seasons.  Pretty good, no?  Well, that resume is good enough to be third best in the North Atlantic.

How about making the previous five Final Fours, including surviving to the championship game on four of those occasions, and being the defending back-to-back national champion?  In the NAC, that's probably the 2nd best resume.  The NAC's best team has 8 Final Fours in the past 10 seasons (two titles) and in those two down seasons that didn't lead to a Final Four appearance, the team had final RPI rankings of 1 and 3.  The last 8 seasons, 10 of the 16 teams that appeared in the D3 championship game came from the NAC.

The NAC regularly sends (at least) half of the conference to the NT.  Once there, the NAC has brought back $71,909 on average over the last 11 seasons that we have tracked.  This past season, we earned $79,000.  That will give you just short of $6600 to try to acclimate yourself to the conference.  That number isn't a fluke, do the math and you'll see that we regularly pull in at least $6000 per team each season.

Two spots are open, both have been in the hands of accomplished HD coaches.

Elms has opened after being in the hands of tyber90 for the previous 24 seasons.  Elms has C prestige and allows for the biggest chance to put your stamp on the conference with 4 open spots.  Elms is currently a motion/man team, although that can obviously be tweaked.

Husson is currently the worst team in the conference but that might be a bit misleading.  Husson was recently coached by gvsujulius and while he only lasted a couple of seasons before cutting back, he's a good enough coach that I'm betting that his 5 sophomores and 3 juniors are ready to do some damage in the NAC.  Husson also has 1 senior from the prior coach so will enter recruiting with 3 open spots.  Husson plays triangle/man.

its a great conference - if you want to prove you've got the nuts, this is as good a place as there is at the D III level.

Since Allen's top D3 conference is full, go join the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.  It's #2 and there are currently three openings available: Bethel, Concordia, Moorhead, and Hamline.

Go take over Hamline. It's a shame to see them run by the AI.
