I have a B- prestige.  Right now I am looking at trying to sign a top player but I am being told I am on his back-up list.  We are already late into recruiting.  Will he fall to me or do I need to put scout trips into him and pull him down?  Do top D1 players fall like in DII and DIII or do they always need to have money put in and pulled down?  Thanks

They fall like DII and DIII, but I'd be surprised if they last that long without someone grabbing them.
