Two Players both D1 drop downs and I am at the D2 level

Player A                      ATH   44                WE  79
Player B                      ATH   79                 WE   6

Player B other attributes are all equal to (LP-REB)  or 5 points higher  (others)
Both are the "D2 All American or Thrive at a Low D1" potential.

Will Player B overcome low WE....ever?

I have already used up all recruiting cash, so it is one of these guys, or a walk-on.

Help????

Go with 'A'....that WE will doom 'B'

Also, ignore the 'D2 All-American' prediction....it's meaningless and even lousy recruits can have that message

WEll what is the potential for A? That is a big factor

If player A has low in all the key spaces than you might as well go with B. Low WE players aren't all bad if you are happy with their starting ratings. At a C+ D2 school like yours a 79 ath is a good player even if he stays there.

But if A has high potential it's not even a question who to go with.

yeah, you need to know the players' potential. also, never pick a guy with WE under 20 unless he is already an amazing talent as a freshman. That player will NOT get better at all.

It'sall about potential. If "A" has average potential in a few areas, there is no question it's "A". "B" will never get better than he is today. If he's seviceable now and "A" has no potential for improvement, it's "B",  "B" will not make 20 points of total improvement in his career.

True. I'm dealing with that reality on one team right now. Finally by his jr year he bumped up to 10 WE so i hope he'll keep his improvements now
