How much should I value certain pitching ratings vs others? Example I have a pitch with good control good velocity and is a ground ball pitch all 90+ but his stats vs lhb and rhb are 52 and 60. Is he any good

You can't look at 1, 2, 3, or 4 P ratings. You have to look at all of them.

Go to the stats page for your world & look at the top 20 Ps. Look at their ratings. Then look at 20 average Ps. Then 20 much worse than average.

And then you will know as much as you're going to know until you've played a few seasons and seen how many Ps are available & how much they go for.
