I was just wondering this and i actually never saw a player over 1000 in overall rating. so did anyone ever proceed over the 1000 line??

yeah they have.  not sure the highest I've seen.  There currently none in the 5 worlds I'm in though

When the game first began, there were MANY players who were over 1000 at the DI level, particularly on high prestige teams run by Sim AI (because back then no one else had the qualifications to be there yet).

WIS has reduced the levels of player ratings over the seasons to where they are now. it used to be the talent at DII was above DI now, and a DIII team back then could probably be on par with many DI teams now.

Yeah it's rare now, but obviously it does happen.

I had a player on my Duke team in Tark (SG Gerard Davis) end up at 1062 just a couple of seasons ago.  What was crazy was that he was not only the #1 rated SG coming out of HS, but he was also the #1 rated Overall and stayed all four seasons.
