If I redshirt a player and his WE takes a somewhat small hit, and then I remove it and try to do it again, is it guaranteed to be a more severe hit the second time?

I did this several years ago, so there may be changes from then until now, but back then I redshirted a 45 WE player who dropped to 37 WE and then I removed it because an injury made me think I'd need him and he went back to 45 WE. I rethought that and decided I didn't need him, reapplied the redshirt, and he dropped to a 7 WE so I removed the redshirt entirely to keep him able to improve (and back then there was no potential so you could improve players however you wanted, so it was important to hold onto WE).

Again, they may have changed that, but that's my expereince with it. Haven't had that issue recently.

"Modified the logic for how a player will react to a redshirt. It will be based on the player's class, his recruiting position rank, and how he ranks on his team (so if he's one of the worst on the roster he's more likely to accept it). Also, his reaction to it will always be the same as it was the first try for a given season. So there won't be any benefit to removing and applying it multiple times."

From the Release Notes, so there's the answer... I'm fine with the drop, though.
