Usually I wait the prereq 22 or whatever games before promoting someone to ML for the first time.  If instead you promote someone during roster expansion, and then send him down after the year ends, is it 22+# of games from prior year's expansion that you want to leave them down?  What does that equate to hovering over the ML service time indicator?

I'll try wording it differently
  • You want to wait ~22 games at season start to call a prospect up to gain additional year of arb
  • You decide to call up the player during roster expansion that year
  • The next year he starts in the minors again
Can you wait 22 games + the number of games he was up during last year's expansion to successfully delay arb?

That is what I did with these two:

Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Tom Forrest
Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: David Flores

Forrest was up for 10 days last season, Flores was called up at the service year day.  Waited 10 extra days to call Forrest up, and now they have the same service time.  I assume this will delay arbitration for Forrest like Flores.
