For the last 3 seasons in Crum, I've played the same team in the first round of the postseason.  Seasons 54 and 56 in the NT, season 55 in the PIT.

Only real reason I remembered is because it's fredpaull's team, and I've ended his season three straight years   Though, the past two seasons I've lost the next game, so hoping that trend stops.

But thought it was odd to be matched up in the first round three straight seasons.

That is a strange coincidence.   Other oddities  that I've noticed:
 this season, DII Crum,  Mercy met Mercyhust (the Compassion Bowl) in the 1st round.  
Another time, I saw Wayne (NE) vs. Wayne (MI).
 Yet another time, it was E. New Mexico vs. W. New Mexico. Amazingly, they're in different conferences in WIS.

Hey Milk, he coached 5 years at Lake Superior St.  in Allen - he gave them the most wins they've ever had in a 5 year run --- the following season though, they died

Hey Al, yah - I've seen that too!  In Allen, in season 44 - Mercyhurst played Mercy - then in season 45 - I played Mercy, and then I played Mercyhurst in the NT ... back then, I even said to myself "this is weird" - Had Mercy beaten me, they would have played in the NT consecutive seasons O_o

Oh wait, what makes this even better and more of a coincidence - is that in Season 44 of Allen - Mercy Beat Delta St. in the championship game - So had Mercy won that game, they would of played Mercyhurst again, or Delta St. in a rematch of the previous season's championship game ... but they were both upset in the first round - and I got to play the two "compassionate" teams back to back in the NT :)
