so is this guy going to be eligible for a 5th season?  It doesn't LOOK to me like he went JUCO.  But you can't break a promise to an inel, so the only way he left his prior team was if he got cut, and I can't for the life of me figure out why he would have been cut.  He should cap out at 97 REB, just dropped off of high potential in BH, and still has high PER and LP.  Got some defensive growth left as well.  Maybe somebody else got cut and he was collateral damage.  But in deciding who to try to grab as a potential 5th recruit this season, I need to know if I should expect 2 or 3 more seasons of Denny.  Thanks.

Redshirting does appear to be an option, which seems like a bad sign to me...

Also still high in SB and Stamina.  I really wish he'd have 3 more years to grow and turn into the stud he has the potential to be.  I mean sure, 76 ATH with no room for growth isn't extremely sexy for a D2 post, but I'm more than happy to live with it when it comes with such a good outside skill set.  It's not like it's a bad number.

at Div 2 he should have 4 eligible seasons, so this one, sr then sr/5. Maybe he quit coz someone else got cut?

I think you should get 3

You can't redshirt him since he was an ineligible.  But you will still get three more seasons out of him, 100% positive.  I ran into the exact same scenario a long time ago and I can assure you that if you want him on your team for three more seasons, you've got him for three more seasons.  Just can't use a redshirt on him, that's all.

One other thing, a 76 Ath might not be "sexy" for a D2 post player, but you're right, it sure isn't "bad".  In fact, there are probably a whole lot of coaches in D2 in that world that would really, really like to have that not-so-sexy 76 Ath player.  I mean, they can't ALL be 95's and 100's, right?

76 ATH is plenty high with all his other ratings, especially as a defense/rebounding big. I've had a few bigs at D2 who tuned out to be very good scorers even with ATH of 65-70, which surprised me a little. This guy is a good example: http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerProfile/Default.aspx?pid=2150099
