Same scholarship message? Topic

Got the exact same scholarship message back to back without making any effort.
One last night, one at 2 today.  Nothing in between, no effort either.

Thought messages were only when things changed, so why the exact same message back to back when I didn't do anything?

there have been some weird things happening recently with scholarship messages; ie sometimes you'll get a scholly message saying you're ahead and then see the kid sign with another school without getting another update. I would suggest putting in more effort and checking the FSS if you can afford it; that seems to be more accurate right now.

i had something weird where it says i was tied or behind and then the next round said i was clearly in the lead with no effort from me. then the next time i was back to tied/behind. I assumed the middle one was a glitch and I'm proceeding with that mindset.

I had a sequence where the recruit was struggling between schools and at the next FSS cycle was leaning towards the other school and I never got a scholarship message.

Could be that the other team offered a RS thinking he was way ahead and want to either RS the player or remove the start/pt.

Just had this happen as well.  Pulled down a D2 guy and eventually got the "Coach I'm on the fence right now message."  I put forth 0 recruiting effort (not even a phone call) and the next cycle the player said "I don't know why they make me wait to sign."  He was considering me and a D2 SIM, so it wasn't like they could apply a R/S in the middle of recruiting.  Thought it was odd.
