First season with team, inherited  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: James O'Donnell. Although he came through the system as a SS, to me he looks like a slightly below marginal defensive SS. In FA signed a better defensive SS. My thought was to play O'Donnell in CF or at 2B, but not sure if would be putting "too much" defense at those positions (if such a thing is possible in COL). There are plenty of other options regardless of where O'Donnell plays.

Well I would say figure out where your other players go, then O'Donnell should be a plus wherever he fits in.  What about 3B?

He could play anywhere, including SS if you we're ok with weak defense there. But if you already shored up SS, damag is right, just p,ay him where you need him. He'd be fine at 2B, 3B or in CF.

He'll play better at 2B than CF; the arm accuracy is wasted in CF (unless they've fixed the bug where there are no OF throwing errors).

2b or 3b most likely. CF is a stretch as is SS.

I generally like a CF with a little more range.  He'd be very good at 2B.

Trade him to somebody like willsauve who overvalues him. The fact that he hits RHed, doesn't hit RHP all that well, has a high durability, 69sp (which may as well be 20), and inefficient defense makes him trade bait imo.

You can find someone with 75/75/55/55 defense or 65/70/70/70 defense that has lower durability and hits switch or lefty with a much lower OVR that people will value less but will give you similar results.
