PG's role in the motion offense Topic

This is probably a stupid question... In the motion offense, does the offense run through the PG, or is he just simply one of 5 players.

I'm not sure what, in a simulated game that really only deals with turnovers, shots, and fouls, you would consider "running through the PG," but the PG's passing rating does have the biggest impact on teammates' field goal percentages.

Just from personal experience, I have found that in the Motion you need a "traditional PG" less than in some of the other offenses. By traditional I mean a guy that is a really good passer. It certainly doesn't hurt to have that high passing rating, but in the Motion you can get away with lower passing as long as they have a high ball handling rating.
