moving a pitcher up Topic

I have several pitchers, in several worlds, that I try to pitch on short rest when possible (meaning when they will still be at 100) in order to maximize their starts.  I have noticed, and I have no real data around this, that they seem to be less effective when doing this.  Anyone else notice any change?  It could just be a small sample size, but I am wondering if pitching at 100 on 3 days rest vs. pitching at 100 on 5 days rest is exactly the same..?

I'm pretty sure I read in a Dev Chat they held way back when that 100 is 100.  You can scan those to see if I remember correctly.

Yeah I think I read that also.  I guess I am wondering if there is some logic in the system that even though he is 100 and acts like 100 from an injury/stam perspective he might not be as effective.  Kind of like in rl when a pitcher hasn't pitched in a while his command might not be fully there even though he is rested.  I know I am grasping at straws but tough to logic with small sample sizes.

I find that pitchers pitch better the day after they are at 100.

So if I have a guy sitting at 78 (100) scheduled for the next start I will move him back one game.

Maybe not supported by dev chats or who ever else, but I feel better about it and tend to get better performances or at least  I think I do.

Yes, WifS has said 100 is 100.    I give my SP the extra day also unless it's the playoffs or I'm in a tough playoff race.

Holding a guy back an extra day certain impacts their fatigue after they pitch.
