I achived most of my goals with this team, but missed badly wrt d-rbs. The d-rbs while even with my opp. needed to be stronger, the second shot attempt seems to break down my defense completely..no real surprise. The end result was 400 extra points scored were eaten up by allowing too many second attempts. Part of the problem with the boards may stem from the large number of (+) def balances I used over the season, at least that didn't help matters. My defense held up well 51FG% vs 49FG%. The team was #1 in ast, #2 in stl's, #4 in FG% and #1 at making you turn it over. (may have been the +50 press games) Kevin Durant is a monster I got about 29ppg, 7.6 boards, 5.4 ast, 52FG% & 91FT% (500FTM). He played quite well @ PF/SF/SG, the teams dynamics had KD @ PF most of the time but for certain teams he was moved around with success. The rest of my starters, Reed, Smith, Gervin and Rondo gave me great seasons near or better than RL. Well I caught the luck and made the PO's.... Made the second round... That's it for this team, bounced in six. I had to spend so much offense to cover the lack of d-rbs that the team ran out of gas and collapsed in games 5 & 6. I'll try again in ODL XLIV.
