I cant stand having unread messages in my mailbox.  Do some folks just let them sit there?  Is it obsessive to delete all the recruiting cycle stuff - except saving the evals.....I dont know why I bother saving them since I hardly ever go back and look at them.......

i only save grades, and those for a single cycle (did this guy need SH last season?). even then i never look back at them. hate the New Mail thing when it isn't new. 

It takes extra effort to delete mail, I don't ready everything but I open everything just so I don't have "new mail."

yes, I dont always delete - but I do open everything......'youve got mail'....

I hate having that green thing on so at the very least I mark everything as read. At the end of each season I delete everything.

I delete everything but grades. I actually hate having any unread mail so If there is something there I read it daily.

i used to read not delete, but for the past 3 years i just got used to eternal green and ignore everything that comes in... it was annoying at first but eventually i got over it. can screw you when you miss grades and **** though

I at least open everything. I save recruiting stuff like Scouting info for 1 season, this wipe it at the start of the new season's recruiting. I NEVER delete anything during recruiting. That screwed me badly early on in HD and I've never done it since.

I usually just click the delete button while looking at the message pop up and that closes it, deletes and takes me back to the main home screen with no mail (unless there was more than 1 I suppose). I delete everything usually before recruiting so I can sort my recruiting responses more easily.

I click on a message, take action on it (grades, max out messages) and leave them there without deleting them. It takes extra effort to delete.

+1, exactly what I do.

For anyone who might not be aware, if you go to the recruiting page, you'll notice a mail icon by each player on your watch list.  If you click that it will take you to a list of just the emails relating to that player.  Pretty useful to sort through messages.

Every now and then I've looked back at a SV message from a couple seasons ago.  I really don't see any reason to delete them except for OCD-ness (and that's ok obviously).  There is a space limit, so they eventually just roll out the old ones after 3-4 seasons or so.

They go away after 180 days regardless of how many messages are in there.

I USED TO GET SO MUCH HATE MAIL, I BLOCKED HALF THE FRIGGIN SITE.

I MUST CLEAR UP THAT GREEN THINGY, SO I ALWAYS OPEN/DELETE, BLOCK NEW ONES

Lol, never...I just leave it...I don't read a lot of the messages anyhow

If needed I take action on the email and then delete. I always leave this site with no messages.
