Your thoughts invited in setting a D3 Lineup Topic

Coaching DIII Menlo in Smith - http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=5817  and pasted in below.  We were knocked out in the second round of the NT as I expected, so my thoughts are turning to next year, when I have 10 guys returning.  We run Flex-Motion.  The world has not yet turned, so we will lose the seniors and Nash will be a RS Freshman.  Let's assume that I am not able to recruit anyone worthy of playing a big part in the rotation.  Wright is my stud with a bunch of improving yet to do, and I could see him starting at the 1, 2 or 3, and I am leaning towards the 3, given the depth we have in the backcourt.  The rest of the other guys are a bunch of interchangable and somewhat complementary parts -- I see nobody else who absolutely has to start, and a bunch of guys who would be capable of starting.  I would love to hear some opinions as to how you guys would set this lineup and why.

Thanks!

This is what I am thinking:
PG- Brady, McCauley,Freshour, Nash
SG-Freshour, McCauley, Wright, Nash
SF-Wright, Marlowe, Fernandes
PF-McKinna, Gum, Davis, Fernandes
C-Davis, Gum, McKinna, Fernandes

This lineup puts my best defenders (both in terms of DE rating and IQ) and FT shooters on the floor together the most.  It also might help get the most out of Fernandes while hiding his awful defensive play by making it hard to target him.  Thoughts?

I like the speed of Brady and McCauley on the floor together.  Either could be your PG, depending on the opponent

I'd definitely start either McCauley or Wright at SG, especially if you plan on shooting 3's...it seems to me at D3 that there's a pretty significant performance difference that comes once the PER gets to 70+ vs. <69, even if it's just a few points one way or the other of that line.

I also like McNeil instead of McKinna at PF.

Thanks rednu. McNeill was my starter this year, but he's graduated.

Whoops, didn't read carefully enough to see the part about the world not flipping. My bad!
