UPDATE - ONE TEAM IS LEFT - HOUSTON

Conference USA in Tark has 3 openings, and has reached a big milestone (or several). Last year the conference was the 6th best, surpassing the Big East in Conference RPI. It had two teams which finished in the top 13 - UAB at #5 and SMU at #13. Four teams went to the NT. We have a great group of long term coaches, and an active board without all of the bickering you see in some conferences. Each year we have stepped up the game to higher and higher levels as a conference.

The teams that are available all had human coaches until two years ago (E.Carolina, and Houston) and last year (Memphis), so they are all teams that a good coach could hit the ground running with. 

It's a great conference - hopefully three of you will join us!

What's the fun of a Coaches' Corner with no bickering?

We used to have a guy (reisscards) who would just insult everyone in the conference for the sake of insulting and being an idiot.  The guys we have now are all really competitive, but also good sports. It's a nice environment in my opinion - drama free, but still lots of back and forth.

We now have Memphis and Houston available. cjwolf has joined us at E. Carolina. Memphis has a higher baseline than most teams, and is on a level with Big 6 teams. Both teams would be solid teams right from the start, not rebuilds. Hopefully we can get two more to join so the conference will be full again.

Tianyi, another great coach took over Memphis. We just have Houston open now. Check out the great list of coaches in the conference, and join us. This conference is going to continue to get better and better.

Just can't resist Memphis when Vandy and Tennessee are both weak. However, I don't think this will be easy by any means, considering how strong the ACC and the rest of the SEC are.
