Starting around 1am ET Thursday night (technically Friday morning), we'll be doing to server maintenance.  The website may be down briefly after 1am ET. 

The cycle that normally runs for HD at 2am ET will NOT run.  That means overnight games will be delayed.  Most likely things will get back on track at the 5am ET cycle.  It is possible that the 5am ET cycle would be skipped as well, but unlikely.

World Crum ends recruiting at midnight ET on Thursday, so that means the normal processes that run at the end of recruiting (including the last batch of signings) will be delayed. 

World Knight will be in the middle of the recruiting period.  Since hopefully only one cycle will be skipped, I'm not currently planning on extending the recruiting period, but that can be done if necessary.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this delay.  Please plan accordingly for recruiting and game planning.

When you are talking about Knight you mention that you are not planning on extending the recruiting period, but it can be done if necessary. What would prompt it to be extended? That could potential change recruiting strategies.

It would probably only be extended if the delay stretches into multiple cycles. 

Will the 2pm exhibition games still run in Crum on Friday if there is more than a single cycle delay?

Everything will be running normally long before the afternoon games, so those would run normally.  If not, there will be further information on Friday morning.

So after 1am ET, I will not be able to access my teams or update game plans? I live on the west coast and that's only 10pm here. All roster/game plan updates will need to be completed before that time in order to be used for the overnight game cycle? Thanks.

The overnight games won't simulate until later than normal, but the site will only be down briefly.   So you should actually have more time than normal to plan for the overnight game.
