In Jaha our season just started.. yesterday was budget time.   When looking at my coaches, all the ML roles were returning except 1 (Bullpen coach who now wanted to be the PC).    So I figured it out what I'd needed etc based on what they wanted, was going to promote my AAA guy to the ML BU position etc etc...  

Well this morning go in to rehire, the Bench Coach, 1B Coach AND Hitting Coach are now all leaving? Not to mention my AAA PC is also leaving?  I've never seen the rehiring change, once the world rollover was done...

Anyone else seen this???

Are you sure you were not misreading something before budgets?

No...I've got a notepad beside my computer, where I figure out the areas of the budget. I've got the demands from all my returning coaches (I will rehire), the cost of the promotions and then the roughly what I'd need for open spots...

Well this morning demands haven't change..but several now have that 'red eye' instead of the green they had yesterday.  Ticket has been sent..budget is now screwed..

I've never seen that before.  And it's really important; my budget swings $3-4M based on the rehire status of my fielding coach.

I, too, keep track of what I need down to the penny for coach re-hiring.

I still see it for FAs, but never coaches.

That would be a **** off.

Yep had it figured to 11.7 million, so set budget to 12.  Well now it will likely cost more IF I want the same guys or coaches of equal ratings etc.   I either have to go for lower quality coaches OR transfer $$.  

Wait till the end of coach hiring to make your offers.  Their demands drop just like free agents.
