D1 PF, how slow is too slow?  19 with what appears to be average high potential only?  Good ATH and WE.

I don't worry about speed in a PF until the elite D1 level.   I would play a 1 speed PF if he had 90+ ATH, REB, DEF, BLK.    Speed doesn't factor in the rebounding equation and it has a minimal effect on low post defense.   I think it is slightly more important in the scoring equation.

I don't think a 50 or so speed is important until you play those teams that have 90's in everything.

Speed for a PF is a good bonus, but not a necessity at all - but if he's good in other areas, recruit him.

I feel like SPD with bigs sometimes seperates the exceptional from the very good - but you can still have a very good big with crappy speed.

The only issues I would see with a lack of speed for a PF, would be:

A)Playing full court press or fast break.
B)Being able to guard his opponent in a man to man situation out on the perimeter and vice versa on offense. He would need speed with good ball handling skills in order to drive the basket. I believe it enhances your PE/LP ratings.
