I used to be quite involved with Hoops Dynasty. Had a lot of fun in D3. When I jumped to D2, I just couldn't get it rolling. I gave it up after my credits ended.

Basically, has there been any updates over the past year? Anything done that might make it fresh for me? I think a big help would be to find a nearly full conference. Maybe I'll get lucky.

There's been no change over the past year.

If you played in naismith D2 .... the southern conference would welcome you with open arms

Come back to Rupp and join the ECC. We have a fairly small but strong group of coaches (4 annual NT team with only 5 humans) with an active CC.

if you only played d3, then i think there is probably a lot for you to still discover, even without changes in the last year. you could always try a different defense - press man and zone are all very different, and present new challenges even for coaches who have been extremely successful playing other systems.

I would definitely recommend you consider coming back to Rupp.  The Rupp D3 forum thread is very active and often quite entertaining.  We also have one full conference, two that have just a couple remaining sims, and several more that have jumped up in human coaches the last couple seasons.  So there are quite a few active and competitive conferences to choose from, sitemail me if you want some more info on the options.

Another option would be the North Atlantic Conference in Allen.  Lot's of banter and some very good coaches.

Funny enough, CW Post was one of the few schools I would take over. They have the right scholarship balance. It was so annoying trying to correct a sim who had 7 openings then zero. They have a 3-3-2-3 which is close to what I like to have. They also aren't doing completely awful. If i decide to join, I'll most likely be grabbing this team.
