I have No seniors this season so I will have no one to recruit next seaon. Should I cut someone so I can recruit someone next season?
Note:This is my first year with my team and I am rebuilding

If you have no Srs, then whatever tourney and carryover $ you have will go into the next season and combine with that seasons tourney $ and recruiting $. Looks like that next class will be 3 -- that is a lot of $ at D3 for 3 recruits

If you cut someone now, you will have to sign a replacement or the Asst Sim will sign a W/O -- result being you lose any carryover. Recruiting just 1 player at D3 can be tough.

I'd keep everyone and have a loaded war chest in 2 season.

I would definitely cut Thomas Blair. That guy has a work ethic of 1, which means he is not going to get any better and he is below average as it is. Plus you have 3 sophomore PG's, which isn't very practical. If you cut him, then, you'll six scholarships to offer this season. I'd only sign four guys and take two walkons. Then, next season, the walkons will leave and you'll have two scholarships to recruit for. Use the walkons to help you balance your classes. You can also consider signing a transfer player with only one year of eligibility (so he'd be a senior this season).

Position is almost irrelevant unless he plans on playing them all at the point. That being said, Blair is garbage. But you could always cut him next year if not this year.

Blair and Ashley look similar.   Is the difference between the two the WE of 1 for Blair?

Yes. Neither one of them is really any good, but work ethic plays a huge role (along with potential) as to how much a player will improve.

Overall ratings are not everything, but players who are still below 450 overall as sophomores are just not good. When I was coaching at DIII, I liked to aim for guys to get to around 550 overall by their junior season. I generally won't recruit anybody who has below 30 in WE, and I hope for guys to improve 50+ overall in each of their first two seasons.
