i believe i have 18 mil in high school and 16 in coll. i was leaning towards the first pitcher since the 2nd one is 21 so i was concerned he wouldn't reach his potential. any thought?

But pitcher two may get shelled as a starter due to only having two pitches, and pitcher one will miss more bats and not allow as many dingers, even though his stamina is lower. I'd say #1 

what do you mean by pitcher 2 will miss more bats? so the low vel. of pitcher 2 woudn't scare you?

I said pitcher one will miss more bats, aka have more strikeouts, due to his higher velocity. Pitcher 2's lower velocity wouldn't scare me if his GB/FB was much higher, but combining the two seems dangerous. I don't think pitcher 2's benefit in innings pitched will overcome his other stats when compared to pitcher 1.

I have a question about a player drafted as well. This guy was drafted in the 1st round and never played ball. He retired after getting his  money. Will  I get compensated for this or is it just money thrown away so to speak. My guess is he signed then you didnt assign him. If thats the case, no comp for you.
